Painted Swirls - Sky Watch Friday

Last week I didn't get to join Sky Watch, I was feeling too ill and the computer screen wasn't helping matters.  Caused by a rare migraine attack.

All the following pics were taken on Sunday 23rd. October.

Lovely Cirrus paint swirls in the sky.
 such delicate feathery strokes
I don't know why this one came out this colour
A funny little grey cloud appears
My camera has one lense so I covered it with my
chiffon scarf to take this one of the bright sun.
 Grey evening clouds swirling in
But the sky is still blue on the other side of the road
 and little clouds are forming
I love the way the clouds constantly change
for beautiful skies from around our planet

Oh -- I hope the migraine stays away. I hate headaches and for sure that's not the time to look at a blinking screen.

I love these pictures -- especially fascinated by the one you took through a scarf! I want to try that.

Stay well!

Hi there - great set of pictures, Headaches are so hard to deal with - in the end darkness and a lie down seems to be the only cure.

Hope they stay away!

I state that you have the same kind of skies as I have, lol ! We are also nearly under the same "roof"

Hi Jackie, You need to read the previous post to the ducks, which is about Boomer, Malemutes and me. The fact that Oscar recognized his inability to lead anymore is the wolf in them, and his death was fitting for a northern hero. And after all we're still talking about him as I said, a fitting reemberance. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

Those are beautiful clouds, I love the light, wispy ones.

To answer your question, I have been up Pikes Peak several times. I've climbed it from the base, I've taken the cog railroad, and I've driven it several times. When you climb it, it's a bit of a letdown when you get to the top and see all the people who didn't climb - I prefer to climb other mountains (although I haven't climbed a tall one in several years now).

LOOOOOVE that silk scarf shot! I'll have to try that technique, but before I do I have one question. Was the scarf patterned or plain??
