Thank you for the refresher course in cloud formations!
A MAN WHO LOOKED UP AT THE SKY
A man who looked up at the sky
Saw ravens and clouds flying by.
He had to look up,
The sky filled his cup—
He’s my kind of sky-watching guy!

Oh, I really like the Teddy Bear Picnic idea best but it's nice to know what these different formations are called. The cartoon cloud on the right has personality plus. :0
You have some great shots! I can't seem to remember the types of clouds, so I am impressed that you do! My favourite is the second shot, with the grain field in the foreground. I just think that shot should be on a wall, not lost in the archives!
They are all beautiful, but I like the second picture best !
Those are all wonderful sky shots. I love the colors in the clouds.
I think we call the hole with the sun, a Sun Dog. Great shots. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
FCantastic cloud formations in the sky.
So many great sky shots - love cumulus clouds.
I love cloud photos, and these are some of the best I've ever seen. you do know your clouds! thanks for the primer. some I'm familiar with, others not so much. thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hello. I truly appreciate it. happy day to you!
Always good to find a serious Skywatcher!.....:)
Cracking shots here, but the sun peeping through the cloud at the end of the day will always do it for me!.....:)
Gorgeous clouds. Happy skywatching!
Wonderful photos. I can watch cloud formations changing for ages. I need to brush up on the different types :)
I love the third picture...amazing!

I love them all, but my favorite is the ghostly cloud face.
Love all of these! Thanks for your visit.
Clouds and their various moods I liked all of them.
That's a nice variety of cloud shots and imaginative interpretation.
Nice photos.
Regards!
Your sky and cloud pictures are fabulous, and I do admire your knowledge about the various types of cloud formations, - thank you for telling me about the name of the wispy clouds that seem to be all that inhabit our hot summer skies.
Active skies with and equally active imagination! What a pretty place to live! Love it that you dress up like Mrs. Claus!
i enjoy all your skywatch photos especially the one with the ghostly face.
